Kiwifruit Growers Collective is hiring an Orchard Team Leader to join our Te Puke team.

About Kiwifruit Growers Collective

Kiwifruit Growers Collective is a regional farming and horticulture business serving the Bay of Plenty since 2010. We operate 10 locations and have built a reputation for consistent quality and dependable teams.

About the role

You will run the day-to-day of a dairy or drystock operation under the farm manager: milking routines, animal health, pasture management, feed budgets and staff rostering. You will keep records in the farm software and step up when the manager is off.

What you will bring

Three plus years in New Zealand dairy or drystock farming. Primary ITO Level 3 or 4, or equivalent experience. Strong stockmanship and pasture management skills. Confident with farm software such as MINDA or FarmIQ. A full driver licence.

Required Qualifications

  • Primary ITO Level 3 or 4 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Full driver licence; Class 2 or W endorsement an asset
  • Confident with farm software such as MINDA, FarmIQ or similar
  • Experience leading a small crew and training new starters
