Tasman Bay Orchards is hiring a Dairy Operations Manager to join our Motueka team.
About Tasman Bay Orchards
Tasman Bay Orchards is a family-owned farming and horticulture business based in Motueka. Founded in 2021, we run 2 locations in Nelson and Tasman and employ a tight team that values doing the work well over scale.
About the role
You will run the whole operation: stock, staff, pasture and feed planning, environmental compliance, budgets and the relationship with the owner. Weekly reporting through the season and monthly through winter. You will build a stable team that returns each year.
What you will bring
Five plus years in farm management with responsibility for a budget and a team. Strong knowledge of NZ farm environmental and animal welfare requirements. Experience with dairy or livestock systems and farm software. Comfortable reporting to owners or a board.

Required Qualifications
- Full driver licence
- Five plus years in farm or orchard management
- Proven budget and P&L responsibility
- Experience recruiting and developing a farm team
