Hawke's Bay Growers is a family-owned farming and horticulture business based in Hastings. Founded in 2022, we run 3 locations in Hawke's Bay and employ a tight team that values doing the work well over scale.
About the role
You will run the day-to-day of a dairy or drystock operation under the farm manager: milking routines, animal health, pasture management, feed budgets and staff rostering. You will keep records in the farm software and step up when the manager is off.
What you will bring
Three plus years in New Zealand dairy or drystock farming. Primary ITO Level 3 or 4, or equivalent experience. Strong stockmanship and pasture management skills. Confident with farm software such as MINDA or FarmIQ. A full driver licence.
